Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jasper). Everything went their way against the Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils on Tuesday as they made off with a 12-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won three in a row.

Jasper pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.43 runs across that stretch. As for Mortimer Jordan, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Jasper beat the Blue Devils by a score of 11-2 later that day.
