Softball Recap: Noble Takes a Loss

Noble had lost six straight at home, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 3-12 to make it seven. They lost 12-1 to the Biddeford Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 24 runs in the game before, the Knights couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Biddeford, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-5. Considering they have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

For Biddeford's part, they let Eliza Doyon and Jaylah Trottier run wild. Doyon went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double, while Trottier went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most runs Doyon has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gabby Smith, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Noble will take on rival Falmouth at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Biddeford is set to square off against their familiar foe Massabesic at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
