Volleyball Recap: Chico Takes a Loss

Chico saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Strawn Greyhounds by a score of 2-1.

Rylee Adams paced Chico's offense, picking up 13 kills. Adams got some help from Camryn Sides and her 19 assists. Savanna Sitek and Taegan Smith kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Chico's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Strawn, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Chico wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Albany on the 23rd. As for Strawn, they will take on Dublin at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday.
