Basketball Game Preview: Madison Christian Eagles vs. Liberty Christian Academy Eagles

Madison Christian and Liberty Christian Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The Madison Christian Eagles will host the Liberty Christian Academy Eagles at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Madison Christian is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 56 points on Thursday, they were much more limited against West Jefferson on Saturday. They came up short against the Roughriders, falling 50-28.

Meanwhile, Liberty Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Ridgedale and fell 67-32. The Eagles were down 57-26 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Liberty Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Madison Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Madison Christian came up short against Liberty Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 62-49.
