Football Recap: Allen Academy Comes Up Short

Allen Academy played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 66-20 loss at the hands of the Annapolis Christian Academy Warriors. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-20.

This is the second loss in a row for Allen Academy and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Annapolis Christian Academy, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Allen Academy will venture away from home to challenge Legacy Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.63 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Annapolis Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against O'Connell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
