Baseball Recap: South Bend Adams Takes a Loss

South Bend Adams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mishawaka Marian Knights. On the bright side, the ten- run effort marked the Eagles' highest-scoring game to date.

South Bend Adams got a good showing from FINN MULVEHILL, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, AIDAN MICINSKI and NATE REASOR stepped up to the plate in a big way. MICINSKI scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5, while REASOR scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. EVAN WHITT was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.

South Bend Adams' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mishawaka Marian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.
