Volleyball Recap: San Gorgonio Comes Up Short

San Gorgonio was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Rialto Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

San Gorgonio's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Rialto, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10.

Coming up, San Gorgonio will welcome Arroyo Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Rialto, they will square off against Fontana at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Steelers will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
