Cabrillo is 7-1 against Morro Bay since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Cabrillo Conquistadores are taking a road trip to face off against the Morro Bay Pirates at 6:00 p.m.

Cabrillo is headed into Thursday's following a draw, the team's first since December 5. Neither they nor Lompoc could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Morro Bay). Their defense stepped up to hand Orcutt Academy a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Pirates considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Cabrillo's draw gives them a new season record of 3-12-3. As for Morro Bay, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8-1.

Cabrillo was able to grind out a solid victory over Morro Bay in their previous meeting back in January of 2018, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cabrillo since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
