Softball Recap: Green Triumphs

Green won the last time they faced East and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bobcats walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Tartans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Green let Emma Brown and Peyton Neal run wild. Brown went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI, while Neal went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave Neal a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Conley, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Green's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for East, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Green has already played their next match, an 11-0 defeat against Manchester on the 18th. Hopefully East paid attention to the Bobcats' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
