Volleyball Recap: Ashe County Starts Season with Win Against Davie County + How To Watch

Ashe County took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Davie County War Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Ashe County was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 22-25, 25-21.

Davie County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ashe County will square off against St. Stephens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Davie County, they will head out to face off against East Surry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
