Basketball Recap: Sequim Takes a Loss

After flying high against Kingston last Friday, Sequim came back down to earth. The Sequim Wolves took a 38-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Mason Bulldogs. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Sequim now has a losing record at 1-2. As for North Mason, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sequim will square off against Bainbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Mason, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Shelton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Mason's defense has only allowed 29.4 points per game this season, so Shelton's offense will have their work cut out for them.
