            Softball Recap: Corner Canyon Chargers vs. Riverton Silverwolves        
        
		
        
        
            Corner Canyon extended their losing streak  to 12  on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 3-22 in the process. They came up short against  the Riverton Silverwolves, falling  25-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Silverwolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  20-0  back in April.
 Corner Canyon saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brooklyn Hyer, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  RBI.
As for Riverton, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-3. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 contests by six  runs or more this season.
 On Riverton's side,  Maycee Madsen was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. That's the most  runs  Madsen has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aspen Roberts, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corner Canyon will venture away from home to  square off against Alta  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Chargers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 9.4  runs per game this season. As for Riverton, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Bountiful  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The RedHawks' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6  runs per game  this season, so the Silverwolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
