Centennial is 8-2 against Joshua since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Centennial Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Joshua Owls at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Centennial beat Everman 46-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Joshua, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They breezed by Seguin to the tune of 64-22 on Friday. Given the Owls' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while the Cougars are ranked 856th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Joshua is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 19-15 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points per game. As for Centennial, their win bumped their record up to 15-17.
