Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Las Plumas). They blew past the Oroville Tigers 43-12 on Friday. Given the Thunderbirds' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 386th, while the Tigers are ranked 952nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tyler Landucci had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 69 yards and three scores. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Las Plumas' win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Oroville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Coming up, Las Plumas will take on Foothill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oroville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
