Softball Preview: Skyridge Falcons vs. Springville Red Devils        
        
		
            
 The Skyridge Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Springville Red Devils at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
 Skyridge will roll into the  matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two  runs  on Thursday, then bounced right back against Lone Peak  on Tuesday. Everything went Skyridge's way against Lone Peak as Skyridge made off with  an  11-4 win.
  Addalie Purcell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up nine Ks.
 At the plate, Skyridge let  Maylee Walston and  Peyton Hall loose on the outfield. Walston  scored three  runs while going 1-for-3, while  Hall  went 2-for-4 with a  triple and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaylie Power, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Springville stacked  a  12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Timpview 18-1. The  victory was nothing new for Springville as they're now sitting on eight straight.
  Allie Fowler was  incredible,  going 3-for-3 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs.  Allyx Haveron was another key contributor,  going 3-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Skyridge's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Springville, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 14 of their last 15 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record  this season.
