Basketball Game Preview: North Rangers vs. Riverside Beavers

North and Riverside are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The North Rangers will be playing at home against the Riverside Beavers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, North ended up a good deal behind Chardon and lost 50-36. The defeat continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Hilltoppers: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Riverside suffered their closest loss since December 14, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Kenston by a score of 43-40. The Beavers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Riverside now has a losing record at 9-10. As for North, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-9.

North beat Riverside 41-28 in their previous matchup on January 11th. Will North repeat their success, or does Riverside have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
