Basketball Recap: Episcopal Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Shipley

Episcopal Academy had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of Shipley by a score of 59-57. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Stevie Maniatis was a one-man wrecking crew For Shipley. as he went 7-for-12 on his way to 21 points and five rebounds. That's the most points Maniatis has posted since back in December of 2024. Danilo Linsalata was another key player, shooting 45% from the field en route to 15 points.

The victory got Shipley back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Episcopal Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Radnor at 5:30 p.m. on December 4. As for Shipley, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Haverford School at 6:00 p.m. on December 5.
