Basketball Recap: Lagrange Beats Troup County for Their Fourth Straight Victory

LaGrange won the last time they faced Troup County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The LaGrange Grangers walked away with a 57-49 win over the Troup County Tigers. The victory was familiar territory for the Grangers who have now won four games in a row.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was DE'JAYLEN CAMPBELL, who posted ten points and four steals. DEE MORELAND was another key player, putting up ten points and six rebounds.

LaGrange's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points over those games. As for Troup County, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8.

Coming up, LaGrange will head out to challenge Sandy Creek at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sandy Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 contests -- so hopefully LaGrange likes a good challenge. Troup County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
