The East Coweta Indians will take on the Douglas County Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Douglas County is facing East Coweta at the wrong time: East Coweta suffered their first home loss of the season on Friday and they're likely out for redemption. They took a 31-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears.

East Coweta might have lost, but man, Jayshon Stegall was a machine: he rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown. Stegall really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of Cohen Peeples, who rushed for 78 yards.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Douglas County on the road against Columbia on Saturday as the squad secured a 47-14 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 20 points or more this season.

DJ Bourdeaux continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 324 yards and four touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Aaron Gregory was Bourdeaux's top target, picking up 115 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Douglas County's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. Leading the way was Jamar Owens and his an interception.

East Coweta's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Douglas County, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.
