While Sandy Creek put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Indian River. The Comets put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 12-0 win. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Sandy Creek's fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Indian River, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

Coming up, Sandy Creek will square off against South Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Comets surely won't give up without a fight. Indian River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
