Softball Recap: Bishop Union Comes Up Short

Bishop Union was the 10-0 winner over Desert when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Broncos fell just short of the Scorpions by a score of 8-7 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Broncos have lost by just one run.

Bishop Union's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Desert, their record is now 9-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bishop Union will square off against rival California City at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Desert is set to face off against their familiar foe Rosamond at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
