Basketball Recap: Upstate Gets the Win

The Upstate Falcons didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Mountain View Prep Stars on Monday, but they still walked away with a 48-44 win.

Upstate found their leader in sophomore Annie Hendley, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. Elizabeth Barth was another key player, putting up six points along with eight boards and six steals.

Upstate's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Mountain View Prep, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Upstate wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-25 loss against St. Joseph's Catholic on the 2nd. Mountain View Prep has also already played their next game (against Southside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
