Baseball Recap: Wyalusing Valley Takes a Loss

Wyalusing Valley lost against Troy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams came up short against the Trojans, falling 13-3. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kenny Mapes made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Logan Norton also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Wyalusing Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Troy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Coming up, Wyalusing Valley will challenge South Williamsport at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Troy, they will face off against Mansfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 11.4 runs per game this season.
