Baseball Game Preview: Madison Blue Streaks vs. Jefferson Area Falcons

For the second straight game, Madison will face off against Jefferson Area. The Blue Streaks will host the Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Madison is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Jefferson Area get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Streaks in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won four in a row.

The result came thanks to Eddy Gvora's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, Madison got a massive performance out of Brendan Titman, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three runs gave Titman a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Kristoff, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Jefferson Area's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6. As for Madison, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
