Meanwhile, Fontainebleau faced Captain Shreve in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Fontainebleau narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Captain Shreve 2-1.

Fontainebleau's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five games. As for St. Joseph's Academy, their win bumped their record up to 21-1-1.
