Football Recap: Greene County Has No Trouble Against Lake Oconee Academy

Greene County won the last time they faced Lake Oconee Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 27-7 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Greene County's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Lake Oconee Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coming up, Greene County will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Red Devils have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests. Lake Oconee Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
