Sneads was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Altha Wildcats. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Sneads actually scored more points across those five sets (101-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-18, 13-25, 25-19, 16-14.
