Basketball Recap: Lutheran North Takes a Loss

Lutheran North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 74-24 defeat at the hands of the Principia Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crusaders of the 69-13 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Lutheran North's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Principia, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutheran North will challenge Whitfield at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th. Lutheran North is facing Whitfield at the right time seeing as Whitfield is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Principia has already played their next contest (against Visitation Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
