Spring-Ford is 9-1 against Perkiomen Valley since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. Spring-Ford will be playing at home against Perkiomen Valley at 4:00 p.m.

Spring-Ford came up short against North Penn on Monday, falling 11-4.

Spring-Ford got a good showing from Dom Ruggiero, who tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, Luke Sedor made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-2. Jake Witmer was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Perkiomen Valley got the win against Bristol on Monday by a conclusive 12-2.

Nicholas Cress looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Liam McNeill was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Michael Strechay, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Perkiomen Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bristol only posted an OBP of .300.

Perkiomen Valley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Spring-Ford, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Spring-Ford skirted past Perkiomen Valley 6-5 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Does Spring-Ford have another victory up their sleeve, or will Perkiomen Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
