Basketball Game Preview: St. Patrick Academy Padres vs. Prout Crusaders

The St. Patrick Academy Padres are taking a road trip to take on the Prout Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

Last Friday, St. Patrick Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 41-36 to Paul Cuffee. The defeat continues a trend for the Padres in their matchups with Paul Cuffee: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Prout waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 62-50.

Prout is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points per game. As for St. Patrick Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

St. Patrick Academy might still be hurting after the 68-44 defeat they got from Prout in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can St. Patrick Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
