Volleyball Recap: Mojave Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mojave can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rattlers have suffered since September 8th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12, 25-13.

Halen Manibusan was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six contests.

With the defeat, Mojave broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 13-19. As for Sierra Vista, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-12.

Mojave does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sierra Vista, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Green Valley on the 6th.
