Volleyball Recap: Somerset Academy Central Miramar Takes a Loss

Somerset Academy Central Miramar lost against Franklin Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Somerset Academy Central Miramar Warriors fell just short of the Franklin Academy Panthers by a score of 3-2. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-17 in the first set.

Somerset Academy Central Miramar took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-15, 21-25, 25-12, 15-11.

Franklin Academy found their leader in sophomore Wilson Panimbosa, who had 11 digs and 11 aces.

Somerset Academy Central Miramar's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Somerset Academy Central Miramar is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will challenge Victory Charter School at 4:00 p.m. on March 12th. As for Franklin Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Franklin Academy Panthers duke it out with Chaminade-Madonna Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
