Softball Preview: Hillcrest Trojans vs. Vista del Lago Ravens        
        
		
            Hillcrest has gone  a perfect 4-0 against Vista del Lago recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Ravens  at 3:15  p.m. Hillcrest is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2  runs per game  this season.
On Friday, Hillcrest needed a bit of extra time to put away Tahquitz. They skirted past the Titans  15-14. The  win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won eight in a row.

 Hillcrest got a  massive  performance out of  Sierra Siracusa, who  went 5-for-6 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. Those  five  RBI gave  Siracusa a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Melody Acevedo, who  went 4-for-6 with four  runs, one  triple,  and one  double.
Meanwhile, Vista del Lago was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight  loss. They lost  11-1 to Heritage.
  Jazlyn Veyna was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with one  home run.
 Hillcrest's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Vista del Lago, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.
Vista del Lago's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Hillcrest has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 8.9  hits per game. It's a different story for Vista del Lago, though, as  they've been averaging 11.9  hits. Given Hillcrest's sizable advantage in that area, the Ravens will need to find a way to close that gap.
