Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Pine View

Pine View extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Hayden Harris. The Panthers walked away with a 59-49 victory over the Provo Bulldogs on Friday for which the team can thank Harris, who shot 73% from the field to rack up 19 points and seven rebounds. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kenedy Eves, who posted six points and eight boards. She has become a key player for Pine View: the team is 3-1 when she posts at least eight rebounds, but 1-2 otherwise.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lydia Ibarra, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Asha Alletto, who put up eight points.

Pine View now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Provo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-3.

Pine View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 44-40 win against Liberty on the 13th. As for Provo, they have also already played their next contest, a 60-54 defeat against Dixie on the 13th.
