Basketball Recap: Rangeley Lakes Comes Up Short

Rangeley Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 73-28 defeat at the hands of the Pine Tree Academy Breakers. The Lakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Breakers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

Rangeley Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Pine Tree Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Rangeley Lakes will host Temple Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pine Tree Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Carrabec at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
