 Marsing was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  11-1 to the Nampa Christian Trojans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Marsing of the  11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in April of 2023.
 Marsing saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Lily Thoene, who  went 1-for-2 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 On Nampa Christian's side,  Sydney Kinzler was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Juliana Scott, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 Marsing's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Nampa Christian, they now  have a winning record of 4-3.
 Marsing will be playing at home against New Plymouth at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Marsing is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.2  runs per game this season. As for Nampa Christian, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Cole Valley Christian at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams will come into the  match having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes.
