Basketball Recap: Sunnyside Comes Up Short

Sunnyside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 78-40 loss at the hands of the West Valley Rams. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Grizzlies have suffered against the Rams since January 24, 2020.

Sunnyside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for West Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-5.

Sunnyside and Eisenhower will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for West Valley, they and Moses Lake will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Moses Lake has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
