Softball Recap: Nazareth Area Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Nazareth Area's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Easton Area Rovers on Thursday. The Blue Eagles haven't had much luck with the Rovers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Kylie Grover spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks.

Nazareth Area's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Easton Area, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-9.

As of now, neither Nazareth Area nor the Rovers have any future games scheduled.
