Basketball Recap: Dayville/Monument Takes a Loss

Dayville/Monument was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 76-23 defeat at the hands of the Crane Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 278th, while the Mustangs are ranked 16th).

Dayville/Monument's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Crane, the win keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dayville/Monument has already played their next contest (against Adrian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Crane will host Jordan Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Crane's favor as the squad sits on 26 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Jordan Valley has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
