Girard proved they can win big on Monday (they won by four) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Southeast Pirates 3-2. This was payback for Girard, who suffered a 4-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.
