Volleyball Recap: South Garland Comes Up Short

South Garland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Irving Tigers, falling 3-0. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-4, 25-19.

South Garland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Irving, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Coming up, South Garland will take on Carter-Riverside in a tournament on Friday. As for Irving, they will challenge Denton at 8:00 a.m. on Friday.
