Immanuel Christian piles up the points against Patterson Institute

In what's become a running theme this season, the Immanuel Christian Warriors gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Patterson Institute 67-35 at home. Winning may never get old, but Immanuel Christian sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Josiah Johnson was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlos Acu?a, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and six steals.

Immanuel Christian pushed their record up to 22-6 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.3 points per game. As for Patterson Institute, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Immanuel Christian will head out on the road to square off against Community Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Community Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Monday. As for Patterson Institute, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Austin at 7:30 p.m.
