Soccer Game Preview: Hernando vs. Fivay

Hernando hasn't had much luck against Fivay recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Hernando Leopards will host the Fivay Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Fivay took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Hernando, who comes in off a win.

Hernando headed into their last contest having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but South Sumter let them put that streak behind them. Hernando's defense stepped up to hand South Sumter a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Leopards, who have now won seven games by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Fivay fell victim to Gulf and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 4-0 to the Buccaneers.

Fivay's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10-3. As for Hernando, they moved to 7-10-1 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
