Soccer Recap: Catalyst-Maria Victorious

It's playoff time, and Catalyst-Maria had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Foreman Hornets get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Thursday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Catalyst-Maria were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Saul Melgar, which was the first he's scored this season.

Catalyst-Maria's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3-3. As for Foreman, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Coming up, Catalyst-Maria is taking a road trip to challenge Holy Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Foreman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
