Soccer Recap: Bullock County Has No Trouble Against Geneva

Bullock County barely beat Geneva the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bullock County Hornets were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the Geneva Panthers on Thursday. That looming 5-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Hornets yet this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Bullock County and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two games. As for Geneva, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Bullock County will head out on the road to take on Pike County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pike County's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Bullock County's offense will have their work cut out for them. Geneva will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dale County at 7:30 p.m. on April 1st.
