Volleyball Game Preview: West Springfield Terriers vs. Westfield Bombers

West Springfield is 0-10 against Westfield since April of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Terriers are taking a road trip to challenge the Bombers at 6:00 p.m.

West Springfield is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Massachusetts' top teams: Westfield, who was ranked seventh at the time (West Springfield was ranked eighth). The Terriers lost 3-0 to the Bombers on Tuesday.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Westfield scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-21.

West Springfield better focus on containing Nolan Rodgers and Arlen Messier as the pair were huge in Westfield's win. Rodgers had 13 digs and one assist, while Messier had six digs.

West Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Westfield, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-3.
