Softball Recap: Eufaula Gets the Win

While Eufaula's victory against Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Rams 8-7. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Natoria Brascom was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sophie Lynn, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Eufaula kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive matchups.

Eufaula's record now sits at 12-18. As for Valley, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-19.

Coming up, Eufaula will head out to face off against Abbeville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valley, they will take on LaFayette at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
