Football Recap: Chisholm Trail Skates Past Trimble Tech with Ease + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Chisholm Trail, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They claimed a resounding 63-3 win over the Trimble Tech Bulldogs. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Rangers had established a 53-point advantage.

Chisholm Trail found their leader in sophomore Montez Roberts, who picked up 110 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 79 yards and one TD. Those 110 receiving yards set a new season-high mark for Roberts. Xavier Rodriguez was in the mix too, providing Chisholm Trail with two scores.

Chisholm Trail was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 342 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 195 rushing yards in five consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

The victory got Chisholm Trail back to even at 2-2. As for Trimble Tech, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Chisholm Trail will square off against Arlington Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Yellowjackets have yet to allow a single point through four contests this season, a streak the Rangers will look to end. As for Trimble Tech, they will face off against Polytechnic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Parrots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
