Soccer Recap: Batavia Comes Up Short

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Batavia was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Neuqua Valley Wildcats. Batavia were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Neuqua Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Batavia's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Neuqua Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Batavia has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against St. Charles North on the 17th. As for Neuqua Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 5-0 victory against Aurora East on the 17th.
