Permian's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past the Waco Lions, posting an 80-51 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 27 points or more this season.

Permian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.9 points per game. As for Waco, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

When Permian and Waco next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Permian will try to stop Hobbs' four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Waco will face off against Lake Belton and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
